Its Time Every Juan Flies

Its quite obvious that my creative juices hasn't been flowing lately. This blog has been stagnant for so long that if this is instead a pool of water, mosquitos can already breed. Ok, not a pretty picture, but you know what I mean.

Actually, I do get inspired to write about something every now and then, its just that I have been so lazy to write lately (nothing new) so my thoughts are not translated into blog entries. But my last plane trip back here to Singapore from Manila was quite interesting, so I'll be exercising my fingers to type something down.

I was a bit wary when I first heard about Cebu Pacific flights to/from Singapore mainly because the flight times weren't so ideal. Just think, arriving in Manila in 4am! However for my last trip back, I decided to give it a try since the fares are attractively cheap. Imagine Tiger Airway's cheap fare + Jetstar's NAIA landing.

Lucky for me, it turned out to be a pleasant experience after all. The plane's new, the flights were more or less on time, the landing was smooth and they give away free C2 drink. Not bad. Plus on my return trip here to Singapore, they had a game onboard, hehe. It was nothing spectacular -- just a simple 'raise it up' game (as opposed to a 'bring me' game, since I am pretty sure they wouldn't want passengers to be rushing along the aisle). But it was enough for me to appreciate how everything adds up to more value for money, given that it is a budget airline.

I also like the fact that the planes are bearing the Philippine flag on its sides...
