It was late for me and Bob (10pm) because I left the client site late, and an even later dessert (12mn!) but good food is A MUST to unwind and relax. Especially since I have weekend work to uhm, look forward to.
So we trekked over to Holland Village (because we already know we'll be having dessert there) and discovered Foster's, a small nondescript English Pub, decently full of locals for a Friday evening. Place looks like every English Pub wannabe in Singapore, drinks selection is just okay (no beer on tap, only in can) but we just loved the food that we ordered! Bob had steak and mushroom pie while I had pepper steak (hehe, hungry).
Then they gave us SGD5.00 voucher for next visit -- we're definitely using it! (I think Bob got envious of my steak)
We shared the fondue this time with The Luvs (who are commemorating their last week as legal singles, they'll be having their ROM next weekend).
Speaking of ROM, their's is actually the first that I'll be witnessing in my almost 4 years here in Singapore so I am curious about it. ROM actually stands for (Singapore's) Registry of Marriages but the locals use it to refer to a solemnization ceremony.
