Barrio Fieeesta!

Lately, I have been trooping to Lucky Plaza at least once a week (twice now this week, and its only wednesday) to get my Pinoy food fix. There is a small restaurant on the 4th floor named Barrio Fiesta. A meal costs Sgd 5.00 which covers 2 dishes, soup, a drink (a choice among canned drinks) and eat-all-you-kanin. My favorite dish is their version of sisig with repolyo. I never thought that would work -- sisig with repolyo. But then I don't exactly cook so what do I know, right? I just eat. Running close second is the lechon kawali. With Mang Tomas sarsa. Yum!

As Bob puts it, "Nothing like salty and greasy food to remind you of home."
