The gadget freak in me

Research shows that women spend more on gadgets rather on shoes. In fact, one article goes further by saying that women do spend more on gadgets than men. Hmmm, I don't exactly disagree. Especially when the #1 thing right now on my wish list is a new Sony Cybershot digital camera. Then the new SE K700. Or maybe the SE S700? Am still undecided. Before finally succumbing to an iPod.

But then gadgets are a lot more expensive than shoes, naturally I'd spend more on them. If you think about it, a new digicam would be equivalent to about a dozen or more pairs at Charles and Keith. That's awfully lot of shoes. To buy all at the same time, that is.

So while I'm saving up for my toys, I'd buy shoes instead -- one pair at a time. hahaha!

my gosh by gosh! it's a fact that men do spend more on gadgets than women (if you define gadgets as "non-accessory" items, i.e., belts, sunglasses, jewelries, etc.). and may I suggest that, although i personally know you prefer small (tiny!) digicams, to stay away from Sony branded digicams, not because of my own personal preferences, but it's just most pro and not so pro photo enthusiasts do... just recently, i spent an excruciating amount of time in deciding which digicam to buy. Went to various sites, stores, asked so many photo geeks and rounded my choices down to 3! only to find out that all 3 are discontinued models. I spent 2 months deciding and another 2 on which photo printer to buy (couldn't decide, so I bought 2!)... Oh! iPods are great... i have 1! except for the damn batteries! they don't have battery packs for the minis yet... just got a call from my friend, the regular iPods went down by $100! get yours! you made the right choice... stick with the shoes! i personally know you pick them well...
