Clem is the luckiest.

My seatmate at work, Clem, is the luckiest.

For 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, he gets to be with me. So that's roughly 50 hours a week, 30% of my entire week. He's the person who spends the most time with me. He gets to enjoy my quick wit, fun company, bright ideas and of course, my SAS expertise in programming.

SO ain't he lucky?

Sadly though, his luck is about to run out. By next month, he's leaving my side. To go back to school. I mean, what else could be the reason? Surely not to get away from me.

Hmmm, I wonder who's gonna help me out with my extractions from the the DW when he's not around? Or with my MS Access tables?

Who's gonna hand over my documents from the printer? Who's gonna be my punching bag?

Who else would have a treasure of loose change in his drawer that would save me from being completely penniless? Or the person who'd appreciate my silliness?

Who's gonna be my voice of reason, pillar of strength, defender of the truth?!?

Ok, ok fine, am exaggerating.

Am sure another person would take his place beside me, would marvel at my passion, enjoy my great sense of humor and would be forced to endure my not-so-playful arm punching. But still the fact remains that Clem is leaving -- and that I'll probably miss him.

Guess I was the luckier one to have him around.

Good luck, Clemboy!
